I'm a fan of Calyan candles, started using 2 of their candles during last fall and the scents were dreamy! I was excited to use this candle, but after it was burning for a few minutes - it emitted a powder-like smell that led me to keep on sneezing. I went back to Whole Foods and sniffed their other "Spring" candles and found that they all had a powder-like undertone. So I don't know how these new scents were formulated, but sadly I can't seem to tolerate them bc of this powder-like smell.
This candle was gifted to me as a house warming present and quickly became my favorite thing about my new house.
I bought a small jar candle at a boutique shop and loved it so much, that I went to the website for more. My faves so far are evergreen & eucalyptus and vetiver & Tonka. I bought the three wick and let me tell you, you can smell it in the whole house, even my sister couldn't believe how fragrant it is. But the thing that really made me love these candles are how absolutely clean they burn, I've never seen candles burn so clean. I'm in love.
I bought this in the hopes of having a more grapefruit forward scent, but this is too floral and just one I don't enjoy. It's kind of the bummer about buying candles online, you really can't tell from the names and notes if it will mesh with your preferences. I'm sure i can return, but it's such a hassle so I'll probably give to a friend. Will definitely stick to my tried and true favorites from Calyan, and not purchase without smelling in person first...

I'm a big fan of this candle. Love the darker glass and the fact that there is a lid for after the candle is snuffed out. The scent is wonderful; fresh and clean. Highly recommend!
